Eddie Merlot's - Warrenville Diehl Road Warrenville steakhouse

My wife and I recently dined at Eddie Merlot's for a valentine's date and had a nice dining experience. The standout dish of the night was the Wagyu Ribeye. The steak was cooked very well. It didn't quite have the melt-in-your-mouth texture that I've had with wagyu from other restaurants but it was juicy and tender with good flavor. The creamed spinach was a perfect accompaniment to the steak, adding a creamy and decadent contrast to the dish. The sweet potato casserole was a delightful surprise. I could have done without the brown sugar but the creamy casserole was the perfect balance to the savory steak and creamed spinach. The service at Eddie Merlot's was top-notch, and the staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere was elegant and sophisticated, making it the perfect setting for a special occasion or romantic dinner.

I recently dined at Eddie Merlot's for my brother's birthday and had an amazing experience. The service was excellent and the staff were very friendly and attentive. They even brought out a complimentary crème brûlée to celebrate my brother's special day. The steak platter was delicious, and the sides were also very tasty. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience and I would highly recommend Eddie Merlot's to anyone looking for a top-quality steakhouse.

My favorite restaurant to go to for a relaxing, fancy meal. The service is impeccable, and the food is even better. They always make sure your steaks are cooked just the way you like them. The staff also provides excellent recommendations for wine and food pairings. They keep a rotating menu of specials that never disappoint - so much so that we still haven't managed to try everything on the regular menu yet!

We came on June 7th for dinner reservations to celebrate our anniversary. Host upfront who appeared to be the manager on duty sat us outside in which we waited over 15 minutes before getting up to go sit at the bar. The host looked at us with frustration and insisted he needed to go and let our "imaginary waiter" know. My wife and I asked if he could take a photo of us by the wine cellar in which he refused and said he had other guest he needed to attend to. The bartender took over 15 minutes just to make us a drink...if it wasn't for the kind waiter we had later that evening, we probably would have left. The Steaks were good, the sides no so much. We spent over $400 at this location in which you would think the Manager upfront would have given us top notch service. Won't be going back here again.

Came in for my Dads birthday. We had a wonderful time, our server Frank was very attentive, nice, and professional. I appreciate the service here!
