To start your dinner at 100 South Chop House and Grill the traditional way, there are escargots, shrimp cocktail and oysters, raw or Rockefeller; more contemporary starters include an onion loaf, deep fried on a bed of chipotle sauce, and tenderloin steaks on miniature brioche buns.
If you like a pasta course before the protein, there’s a pot roast with rigatoni, blackened chicken with bow tie pasta, and a number of other traditional as well as more innovative noodle dishes to lay a foundation for the meal to come.
If you’re in the mood for food of the sea, teriyaki glazed salmon is a local favorite. We also like Sea Bass Velasco (with jalapenos and garlic in a white wine sauce) as well as lobster and crab legs, the time-honored seafood options to a steak dinner.
For steaks, many go for the Chop Chop Rib Eye – USDA Prime, a beautiful example of the grill man’s art. In addition to traditional favorites like the Delmonico and New York Strip, there are some house specialties including skirt steak Grecian style (with oregano, lemon, white wine and garlic -- all covered in fries!) and a Filet Trio of three four-ounce filets – covered in bleu cheese, horseradish and parmesan.
The wine list at 100 South Chop House & Grill is quite large, with selections in many categories of imported and domestic reds and whites. Dozens are available by the glass.
