Best Steakhouses to Visit During Chicago Restaurant Week, 2019

From January 25 to February 7, 2019, however, you can visit one of the following six fine Chicago steakhouses and have brunch for $24, lunch for $36 or dinner for $48. We call that a bargain.

RPM. Chef-driven, contemporary, stylish, and in the heart of Chicago’s River North fun hub, RPM was named “Best Steakhouse in Chicago” in the Chicago Tribune dining poll. The surroundings are sumptuous, just the thing to raise your spirits during the post-holiday doldrums, and the food is elevated and designed to lift you out of your winter funk and make you feel really good. During Restaurant Week, you can get those good vibes for a bargain price.

Perry’s Steakhouse & Grille.  Last year’s Restaurant Week at Perry’s Steakhouse & Grille is probably a good guide to this year’s Restaurant Week at Perry’s Steakhouse & Grille. Everything starts with a salad, Kale or Caesar, and then you have a choice of Filet Perry, grilled salmon or Perry’s Famous Pork Chop, a slap of Midwest pork rubbed with Perry’s proprietary seasoning and rotisserie-roasted for six hours until it’s served to you, sweet and sizzling. Dessert is included, and the price could not be more right.

Ditka’s. Iron Mike’s place is a standard go-to spot for Chicago’s Restaurant Week. Having moved from their previous location to the Tremont Hotel, you can expect to find the walls festooned with sports memorabilia (and Coach, predictably, collected quite a lot of that) and plates overflowing with the generous cuts of meat and fish you’ve come to associate with this Chicago landmark. During Restaurant Week, you can expect to get all that for a very appetizing price.

GT Prime. Under the direction of renown Italian-American chef Giuseppe Tentori, GT Prime Steakhouse serves up all-American red meat with a lightly Franco-Italian flourish…and, during Restaurant Week, you get it all for a price that you will not believe. As you’re getting the meal for such a price, you might spring for one of GT Prime’s craft cocktails: you will not regret it, and at these prices, you cannot afford not to try one.

Rosebud Steakhouse. Rosebud Steakhouse is known as one of Chicago’s finest venues for top-shelf meat and an old school Italian vibe that seems to go hand-in-hand with a truly marvelous piece of meat. Rosebud Steakhouse is the kind of place where you’ll want to make reservations because everyone is going to want to eat there, not only for the outstanding steaks, but for the impeccable service and, during Restaurant Week, a truly memorable price.

Smith & Wollensky. Located along the river, with magnificent views of the water and the skyline, Smith & Wollensky is a place that always seems to have something happening. During Restaurant Week 2019, what’s happening is that some of the city’s finest steak will be served for incredibly low prices. Although wine is not included on the prix fix menu, you will want to grab a glass of delicious Cabernet or Merlot to match the incomparable deliciousness of the steak.
