The restaurant chain, which has been around since 1994, boasts additional locations in Hawaii, California, and Sun Valley, Idaho. It's won the "Best Steakhouse" award from the Idaho Statesman’s Best of the Treasure Valley.

For those dining at the restaurant, there are plenty of options, from a host of prime steaks and rack of lamb to pan-seared Ahi tuna and broiled Maine lobster tail. And finally, for those who prefer their meals wrapped nicely with a bow, a three-course, prix-fixe offering is available. What a experience!! My waiter was smoking hot too!! I got the A5 , the eye of the ribeye from snake river gold standard, Maine lobsters... everything was perfect!! They definitely need a bigger champagne 🍾 selection!! The A5 is insane !!! I also got the lobster mac and wild Alaskan halibut to go for lunch tomorrow.. great place to to eat a nice steak dinner!!

Chandler’s is a staple of Downtown Boise. This restaurant is a local classic and more than just a dining destination. It’s a blend of the upscale Niche of Idahoans who enjoy a refined palate, with the air of a simultaneous effortlessness. Do yourself a favor- order the Oysters Rockefeller to start. The Tuna Tower is divine, and any of the steaks are guaranteed to be perfectly-cooked and with just the right amount of complimentary accompaniments. Sidenote… I trust any place that does a good Moscow Mule. Mission Accomplished there as well. Always a pleasure to return to this landmark dining spot. Enjoy!

Our experience was not what it usually was prior to this visit. We paid triple the amount of what we did in the last few years due to price increase, which is understandable but the quality wasn't there. We ordered the lobster mac and cheese and there was only one piece of the lobster for an extra $15! The dry aged steaks had no seasoning and were tough and chewy even though they were medium rare. Only good part about it was the seafood dishes and desserts.Will go elsewhere for our next big event- which is a bummer, we loved Chandlers

Went for our anniversary. Fabulous food and service, seated near the piano player. It was a great time. Not an everyday kind of place but a great romantic experience. Their website does have a dress code, though it is a little bit hard to find, but it is an upscale place so dress accordingly or the waiters and waitresses will easily look better than you do.

My wife and I came in for dinner reservations to celebrate our anniversary, we were 30 minutes early for our reservation. We assumed we’d just sit at the bar until our reservation was ready but we realized there was no seating left at the bar (no big deal) hostess told us our table was not ready so we went down the street to get drinks until closer to reservation time. When we came back we were seated at our “reserved table” next to the bar that was completely wide open and ready when we were there the first time. Appetizers were great. Chandlers reputation is quality meat and seafood, so my wife and I ordered two high end steak cuts. We ordered these medium rare. What we received I would most likely compare to that of a steak someone brave enough at Denny’s would receive. The steaks were charred crispy on the outside and medium well at least on the inside and left their flavor’s somewhere back in the kitchen. I judge a quality steak on whether or not a person needs A-1 sauce to choke it down……these definitely needed A-1 sauce. Without a doubt the most overpriced cut of meat I’ve ever had for what I received. Doesn’t matter what the cut or how expensive the meat is if you can’t cook it properly. A persons expectation when eating at a place this highly priced is you will receive a good atmospheric experience and higher quality food than what you yourself would cook at home. I can easily say the steaks I cook at home far exceed that of which I received. Having ate many times at the Seattle chandlers I honestly questioned what kind of trade mark violations this nock off restaurant was committing. The apple has fallen far from the tree. If anyone out there is thinking about going to Chandlers with hopes and expectations for a good steak. Please save yourself and go to Indian Creek Steakhouse in Caldwell for the best steaks in the valley.

We came in from out of town and saw all the amazing reviews so thought we would just go for it and try it out. The people were great, we ordered some steaks, unfortunately they were the most bland steaks I have ever had. The only reason I am giving them 3 stars is because the veggies and the shrimp were good. We will definitely be looking at other restaurants for all our future trips to Boise.

Nice place if you like great music. Be prepared to enjoy a long visit, over 1 1/2 hours for appetizers at 9:15 at night. No tables available for dinner. Seems make reservations weeks in advance. I could not eat most of the food, very spicy. If you like spicy hollandaise, heavily peppered food, this is your place.

Absolutely delicious food! The atmosphere was so romantic with low lighting and live music. (The singer sounded like Michael Buble). Our waitress gave great recommendations and explained the menu with beautiful detail. They even gave us a complementary dessert for our anniversary. We were treated like royalty and I would highly recommend!

More than worth it. Had the very basic filet mignon and it was superb in flavor and it was a true "medium". Had a baked potato with it, along with a really nice red. Staff was amazing and really knew the menu. Did vanilla ice cream and a white dessert wine to end the meal. Live jazz started around 5:30pm. Walked in at 4:30pm to get a bar seat, and it had already filled up. Did a martini to start the evening and it was superb. I'll visit this place whenever I visit Boise.

We had a fantastic evening at Chandler's Steakhouse, tonight. What makes this place incredible is their attention to detail. The staff and our main waiter, Craig helped set Chandler's apart from other restaurants we've visited. Please keep up with the small details because dining is more than just the food.

Had a great experience celebrating our anniversary at Chandler's. We had heard good things and were not disappointed. The food and service were great and the atmosphere was on point with the live jazz. Pricey but worth it.

We are new to Boise and this was our first time at Chandlers. We stopped in for dessert and a drink after a bad dinner experience somewhere else. The chocolate souffle was perfect and the service was even better. They could not have been nicer and more helpful. The live entertainment in the bar was very good and made for a really enjoyable time. The restaurant turned our bad evening around and we went home very pleased. We will certainly be going back often. We have gone again. Had a great Delmonico steak that was perfectly cooked and delicious. Started with a 10 minute martini and oysters. Accompanying the steak we had baked potatoes and s very good creamed spinach. Finished off with a very very good chocolate souffle. The service was outstanding. We have gone again. We tried to sit in the bar area with live entertainment but all the tables were full. The hostess sat us just outside the bar area at a very nice table. We had salad, gazpacho soup, shrimp appetizers and a chocolate souffle. The service was outstanding as was the food. The restaurant makes us feel wanted and relaxed. The service is friendly and attentive and we always have a great time.

It is a gorgeous restaurant, the staff is very friendly, and we were seated promptly for our reservation. They took time to let us know the specials, and gave us recommendations. The salad as a first course was excellent, the steals cooked perfectly, the whole experience was phenomenal. Very pricey but well worth the money...

The service was some of the best I've ever experienced, the atmosphere was fantastic... the food however was a bit of a mixed bag. The crab cakes and abalone were amazing, the veal however was very, very salty and a bit tough. Two in our party ordered it and it was the same for both. Everything else was so great though that I'm fairly confident it was a fluke, and would still like to try the place again.

The food is so delicious and the service is always top notch! Definitely a "date night" location, but the quality is worth the price for sure! The oysters were so tasty, and so were the drinks!! The next time I am here I definitely need to try the wagyu beef, even tho it is pricey. The live music is always quite soothing as well!
