Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steakhouse - Atlanta
Upscale concept Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steakhouse has landed in the Atlanta suburb of Dunwoody. It's the centerpiece of the new Park Center development and located near Perimeter Mall.
The restaurant, of course, is sleek, boasting modern design and a floating wine cellar that's used for hosting private parties. As expected, Del Frisco's menu complements its setting.
Guests are encouraged to start with one of the share-able dishes. Highly recommended is the shellfish plateau of chilled Alaskan king crab legs, iced jumbo shrimp, chilled crab claws, chilled lobster cocktail and jumbo lump crab Louie. Meat lovers should appreciate seared rare wagyu beef carpaccio or seared Hudson Valley fois gras from that menu.
Steak offerings include hand-cut steaks and chops, dry-aged steaks and a nice selection of wagyu steaks, which includes three ounce tastings for $160. Those looking for something exceptional should consider ordering the 32 ounce 45-day dry-aged double bone prime rib-eye.
Every Sunday diners may indulge in a $59 prix-fixe menu of an eight-ounce filet paired with a choice of succulent crab cake, scallops or shrimp, plus a salad and side.
