Read MoreThe modern Italian chophouse is sleek and so is its menu. It's open for brunch, lunch and dinner--with happy hour in between.
Seafood lovers should appreciate the appetizer menu, for starters. Offers such as black skillet-roasted mussels, baked stuffed clams oreganta, and calamari with Italian cherry peppers and sweet pomodoro sauce are some of the highlights.
A signature appetizer is the Australian wagyu carpaccio. The cows from which the wagyu is made are raised on the native pastures on northern Australia. It's well-marbled with a rich, buttery flavor and a caramel-like crust. There is also a nice selection of flatbreads and salads.
Being an Italian chophouse means, of course, that Timpano also offers pastas. You'll find a selection of favorites, including lobster ravioli, linguine with clams, and shrimp fra Diavolo.
Those desiring steak may choose from an eight-ounce, hand-cut filet to a 20-ounce cowboy rib-eye. And roasted branzino, slow-braised short ribs and cioppino are also offered.
The brunch menu is also Italian focused and includes specialties such as blueberry ricotta pancakes, a frittata and chicken parmigana.
