The Ruth's Chris in St. Petersburg is located on the upper level of the trendy Sundial mall. This is where you'll find the classic steakhouse among the likes of popular retailers like Chico's, Tommy Bahama and White House | Black Market.

Maximize

The menu is consistent throughout the brand: You'll find steaks and chops, seafood entrees and specialty dishes like the signature roasted chicken breast stuffed with garlic-herb cheese. There's also the option to order the prix-fixe meal, which consists of the chef's favorite recipes with a starter, entrée and side dish.

What sets the St. Petersburg location apart from many Ruth's Chris outposts is that it includes patio seating, which is also covered. You can even bring Fido, and the staff will likely whip up something special for your pooch.

Guests settling on the patio will be treated to a view of the Sundial Fountain. The restaurant is also near Central Avenue, the entertainment district, where you'll be able to take in live music.

I ordered the Ruth’s classic steak and shrimp plate and it was perfection. The new bartender Stephanie was very polite and helpful . There is something special about someone when she can make your experience feel this much like home . Keep up the good work , you guys are killing it . 5 stars

We made a reservation for 7:00 pm on Open Table days in advance. I see that 55 reservations were booked today. We eventually were seated inside in the bar area next to the main walkway where the party seated at the bar and others with them were backing into our table not even allowing room for our server. They were having fun but very loud. When asked to change tables, we were told there were none even though there were many empty tables outside. We left and walked across the way for an excellent meal. And… by the way, our reservation was subsequently cancelled on Open Table so we cannot leave a comment there.

The great Ruth Chris Steakhouse. Known by all and very classy. I loved visiting it, getting their great food and drinks but what I have to admit is the complimenting finishing touch to this great restaurant was our server Randall.

We came here after a movie at AMC Sundial and had a couple of drinks. Kristi took great care of us and made THE BEST VODKA (not too) DIRTY MARTINI EVER. Apparently, the stuffed olives used a proprietary blue cheese mix. Five stars all the way for Kristi and Ruth Chris 🍸🥩 🍿🎥

Good friends too me to Ruth Chris for my birthday. Ordered a surf and turf classic upgrading steak to 12 Oz. When steak arrived it was a much smaller 6 Oz and extreme well cooked to the point of being charred. When I complained about the order I was told it was normal to have variations like this. Generally a true statement but in this case quite ridiculous to the point of being insulting. A manager was eventually called over to correct the issue but the process took over 25 minutes so that by the time the correctly cooked steak arrived the rest of my party was finished eating. I ended up leaving hungry and very unsatisfied with the meal. I will not go back. On the positive side, the blueberry Mojito and lobster was excellent.

Ruths Chris can be hit or miss which for fine dining is totally unacceptable. We had given up and wound up in this one by accident. We love it. Its a very good steak not Peter Luger but good and the menu is delicious. Service excellent. Very nice bar. Lovely outdoor seating. Its really nice.

We had a nice dinner and it's a good experience, the problem is that Bern's is our usual steakhouse and this left us thinking about how Bern's is all around a better experience and even a significantly better value. It's not about the money but you can't help but notice when you pay more for less when trying someplace new. Also the "500 degree" hot plate steak serving style seems unnecessarily gimmicky. Otherwise the quality of the food and service was up to expectations.

The food was predictably good. The service was a bit lacking from the usual care and attention. The assistant server was great and did a better job than the seasoned server. The drinks were a bit off. Hope they can tune things up for a better experience. They should try to do something about the sunset while sitting outdoors. It just gets miserable for about 30 minutes. It can be an easy fix.

My friends and I were going out for a good dinner. Our original choice couldn't accommodate a party of 6 last minute on a Saturday but Ruth's Chris could. It surpassed all of my expectations. Service was amazing, steak cooked perfect and delicious, all the sides were amazing.

Solid steak, as always...but not stellar. Good wines by the glass. Service was just ok. They were inattentive, and there were only 9 or 10 tables taken with lots of staff.

I brought my daughter here for the 1st time for Christmas Eve, and she loved it. She's 12, and she split the cowboy ribeye 🤤 she added the truffle butter to it, and she said it was delicious. I ordered the garlic encrusted chillean Sea Bass w/lemon butter sauce. It was the largest fillet I have ever seen. Definitely a must try!

Austin is the best of the best. When u go ask for him. He will ensure a positive dining experience from drinks to deserts and even knife selections for your steak. We were treated like royalty...A+ experience thanks to Austin. Well done!!

I fine here frequently and always leave very satisfied. On our visit 6-4-21 our server was Dylan. Watch out that Dylan forgets to ask you what size steak because he goes not ask and then brings you the largest. Not asking is an old trick to raise the bill. Great place for steaks. I will still go but ask that they send someone other than Dylan. Too bad this has a negative.
