A solo happy hour date at Ruth's Chris led to a very happy me. I went to Ruth's and ordered the pomegranate martini and tried their Prime Cheeseburger (happy hour). The drinks here are PHENOMENAL. I could have stayed there for the drinks alone. My bartender was also attentive and personable. The burger, however, wasn't as amazing as I wished it be sure to the name but my life for a soft bun could have played a role in that. I was glad to buy the burger at a happy hour price. For dessert, I HAD to try the bread pudding and an espresso martini (I LOVE espresso martinis) and neither of them disappointed. The bread pudding comes warm and moist and the splash of Bailey's I asked for in my martini paired right along with it. All I needed was a blanket and a lounge chair! I'll definitely be returning but I'll certainly opt for a steak next time to give a true rating, but I was pleased with my outing AND I had some bread pudding left over to take home.

My friend Andy and I we’re recently in Orlando for a convention and decided to go to Ruth Chris on Sand Lake for dinner. We were immediately greeted at the door and welcomed in. The hostesses found our reservation in the computer and sat us promptly. We were greeted by our server, Dawn, and introduced to her assistant, Jacob, as soon as we sat down. The restaurant was very busy, yet we felt like we were VIPs. Dawn did an amazing job explaining the menu and specials. Jacob soon arrived with fresh, hot bread, butter and a carafe of cold water. Our meals were delicious!!! We shared a shrimp cocktail appetizer with the largest, crispest cold shrimp I’ve ever had! Andy and I both had a lobster tail and a filet combo, served with mashed potatoes and a side order of asparagus. The meal came out sizzling on the plate and the steaks could be cut with our forks! We had Crown/7s to drink and they were poured perfectly! Dawn worked hard to make sure we had an excellent dining experience. A+ service all the way. I look forward to visiting Orlando again in the future and will definitely be going back to Ruth Chris on Sand Lake.

To be very honest I was so saddened by my experience at this location. We went to celebrate a friends birthday with a group of seven. With six of us being in the service industry so we treat our fellow service people with the utmost respect and tip extremely well... That also being said we let our server know beforehand who would be on whose check so at the end of the evening it would be the easiest for them. The food was good but the service we received from our server was the worst I have ever experienced. He was very rude and seemed bothered by everything... He even sighed and huffed and puffed at the birthday girl when she asked for a drink from the bar. I have no idea all the other tables around us were treated very nicely by him so I don't know if he was just bothered by us personally. When I was finally time for the check as I stated we let him know who would be on who's beforehand it was still all incorrect and when we let him know he literally motioned for us to hurry up and pass him the checkbooks literally said come on come on come on. I refuse to write his name on here because that is their livelihood and again we are in the service industry but I would really appreciate if someone from this location would reach out so I could discuss this further.

this was an event so there were several of us. We were never asked if we wanted any drinks. I would have loved some coffee with my dessert. But no one asked. My salmon was raw in the middle. So I ended up eating the cooked version after everyone else was finished. They don't have tartar sauce at this restaurant. The salmon was good without it but it wouldn't hurt to have it available. The broccoli was simple and the mashed potatoes were good but had cooled off by the time I got the salmon.. The chocolate dessert was excellent. I took it home and had coffee with it.

Awful!! After getting a recommendation from a coworker i decided to take my spouse out for our 33rd anniversary. First I received a text telling us our table was ready at 5:45 for a 6:30 reservation. That was unusual. When we arrived at 6:10 we had to wait a few minutes til our table was "ready". Our waiter arrived about 7-8 minutes after being seated which i found a little too long considering it wasn't a very busy Tuesday. Waiter was very nice and well versed in the menu items. We were going to select this or that but he recommended other items that we went along with. Well, food comes out after quite a long time and apparently we received the wrong steaks. We weren't aware because i don't know the difference of new york steak and regular steak. And my spouse's steak wasn't cooked to their liking(came out too pink) but since we waited so long we weren't going to change anything. After our waiter told us of this mistake we were already more than halfway done with the steaks. The steaks were the best i ever tasted. Very tasty and tender. After eating the steaks the waiter asks us if we were still interested in the rest of our meal which was lobster bisque, salad, mashed potatoes and our desert. He thought were going to say no appo but We said yes. Bisque comes out with the salads. Bisque was the worse bisque ever. Had 1 small piece of lobster and the rest was "liquid". Did not taste like lobster at all. We left it alone after 1 spoonful. We try the salad and that was just as bad. Both were all soggy and had no good taste to it. The mashed potatoes never came out and waiter asked if we still wanted them and we definitely did because it was part of our "combination meal". I couldn't believe the potatoes were so bad too!! Tasted awful. We didn't even take another spoon of them. By this time we were ready to go but spouse wanted to get desert since it was part of the meal. Waiter recommended his favorite so went along with it and that was just as bad. We both took a spoon of it and left it there. Our bill comes and waiter asks if we want any of the extra food boxed but we decline. We pay our very expensive bill and leave. I get home and see that on bill they have their tip suggestions. I ended up paying only 18 percent at restaurant because of the experience we had but when i do the actual math i really ended up paying over 22 percent!! I did the math in many ways trying to figure out how they came out with this suggested tip and couldn't find it. Anyways, It's not the few dollars that I'm upset about but the idea that they did/do this is mind boggling. In these days, many people are trying to save as much as possible. Overall i was not very impressed with this steakhouse not 1 bit. Started with the text that made me nervous and made me speed to get there to the terrible dinner and ended with that ridiculous mathematical error on my bill that i didn't figure out til i got home. To each their own but We don't plan on going there ever again anytime in the near future.

Me and hubby came here for dinner and really enjoyed ourselves. We got calamari for an appetizer, he got the ribeye, I got the stuffed chicken, and we got 2...

Absolutely amazing! The food is phenomenal. The steak is perfectly cooked. Drinks are strong and tasty. The side dishes are divine. Get the sweet potato casserole, it will change your life!!! The service is stellar as well. Zero complaints about this establishment.

So far this year, we've celebrated New Year's and our 7th Anniversary here at this location. The staff is always so inviting, and the food speaks for itself. There's Caesar salads are unbeatable. They accommodate my requests for preparing my fillet done "Pittsburgh." Too bad there's not one closer to us now that we are in Cocoa Beach, but it's always worth the trip. Heck, we even got engaged at a Ruth's Chris in Jacksonville.
