My friend Andy and I we’re recently in Orlando for a convention and decided to go to Ruth Chris on Sand Lake for dinner. We were immediately greeted at the door and welcomed in. The hostesses found our reservation in the computer and sat us promptly. We were greeted by our server, Dawn, and introduced to her assistant, Jacob, as soon as we sat down. The restaurant was very busy, yet we felt like we were VIPs. Dawn did an amazing job explaining the menu and specials. Jacob soon arrived with fresh, hot bread, butter and a carafe of cold water. Our meals were delicious!!! We shared a shrimp cocktail appetizer with the largest, crispest cold shrimp I’ve ever had! Andy and I both had a lobster tail and a filet combo, served with mashed potatoes and a side order of asparagus. The meal came out sizzling on the plate and the steaks could be cut with our forks! We had Crown/7s to drink and they were poured perfectly! Dawn worked hard to make sure we had an excellent dining experience. A+ service all the way. I look forward to visiting Orlando again in the future and will definitely be going back to Ruth Chris on Sand Lake.
