I have dined at Ocean Prime many times, at this location as well as other locations, and the experience gets progressively worse on each visit. At this location in particular, I have noticed a steady decline across all aspects of the dining experience.
To start, on my most recent visit, the cleanliness in both the lobby/dining room, as well as the restrooms was lacking. The service at both the bar and dining room was subpar at best, which is extremely disappointing for an establishment that touts itself as fine dining. Our dining room experience stretched on for an exceptionally long time, with extended periods of time in which the table sat with dirty dishes piled up, as many staff members, and management walked by, and seemingly turned a blind eye. At a fine dining establishment, there should be a team supporting the table, instead we had long periods of time in which water glasses sat empty, in which we had to ask multiple people, on multiple occasions for more water. Knowing they can’t even execute on the basics of a dining experience, we luckily lowered our expectations for the rest of the meal. The food was mediocre, at best, and when mentioned about quality of items, staff did not seem to care. The cherry on top of this “fine dining experience” was the checkout process. Never in my life have I been to a fine dining restaurant that brings an electronic payment machine around the table, as the server stands over you and watches you pay and add gratuity. This was odd and totally takes away from the experience. Due to the experience(s) as well as managements complete lack of awareness as to what is going on in their restaurant, will never return, and would not recommend.
