St. Anselm

St. Anselm - Washington

A second St. Anselm arrives from the collaborating team of

restaurateurs Stephen Starr and Joe Carroll as well as "Top Chef" alum Marjorie Meek-Bradley. The fashionable meatery, which originated in Brooklyn, is situated in the Union Market neighborhood in Washington, D.C.

Meek-Bradley serves as executive chef at St. Anselm, which showcases a solid American menu that's been updated for contemporary tastes. Guests should first order from the "little things" section, which is comprised of sharable dishes like blue crab deviled eggs, kampachi crudo, buttermilk biscuits and lamb tartare atop grilled flatbread.

All meats are grilled to perfection at St. Anselm, from a 16-ounce prime rib-eye steak to crispy young chicken topped with mumbo sauce--a D.C. original that's sweet, tangy and typically accompanies fried chicken wings, french fries, fried jumbo shrimp and fried rice.

A wine menu with unique finds from all over the world complements the food.
