Catering to the corporate and business crowd, this outpost of Ruth's Chris is located in the Washington Convention Center (a second D.C. location is at 1801 Connecticut Avenue, N.W.). It's good to know that it's walking distance to Gallery Place Metro stop, the National Mall and the Smithsonian Art Museum.

Ruth's Chris Steak House, in fact, boasts locations all over the country and it's known best for USDA prime steaks--from a filet to Porterhouse for two prepared tableside--cooked at 500 degrees. Specialty entrees include Caribbean lobster tail, chicken breast stuffed with garlic herb cheese, and lamb chops served with fresh mint.

In addition to this location being a popular spot for dinner, it's also a favorite for Ruth's Chris' "Sizzle Swizzle Swirl Happy Hour." The Monday through Friday program offers drinks and food at a discount, which includes $9 burgers, a crab BLT and more.

The staff down here is really disrespectful. I ask for the manager and he/she never showed up. I recommend you either go to another Ruth's Chris or McDonalds like I did. At least you will save money, and less disrespect.

the best steakhouse we have by far. I were surprised that they decorated the table and even had a little card for our anniversary. service, food, drink, everything was spectacular!

It lived up to it's reputation. I really came to see if it was all of that and it was. It's a little pricey, but it's worth every penny. Seasoned to steak perfection. I intend to return for the porterhouse for 2. But you can eat within your means. I got a few of extras, like appetizers and wine. You won't be disappointed. It's hard to get 5 stars out of me, so try them, especially if you are a steak connoisseur.

Took in happy hour at suggestion of a very helpful woman on the street. We were not disappointed. Happy hour menu is reasonably priced. We tried the steak sandwich, spicy shrimp, ahi tuna, zucchini fries. All we're delicious. The bartenders service was fantastic. We would definitely do it again.

Making an online reservation was easy. When we arrived to the restaurant the staff was wonderful and friendly. Our food came quickly and was spectacular. As great as our food was, the service was even better. 10/10

Food was good... service too... but the decor feels like traveling back in time to the 70's! Really stuffy and DARK. I mean literally at 6pm when it's sunny outside I couldn't see my friends faces clearly at the table. Not to mention trying to read the menu! Unpleasant! Depressing even! I'm not coming back!

Visited during happy hour with some friends. Vibe was good and drinks were on point. Bar staff was always readily available and friendly. They have some pretty good options on their happy hour menu.

Food was top notch our server was as well. I cannot for the life remember his name. I want to say Jeremiah. I had a petite filet with crab cakes and asparagus. We shared the sweet potato side and some broccoli. The broccoli was bland, literally it was just cooked without seasoning. That was the only thing that was not 5-star. We tasted some different wines and I ended up with Ruby Red Greyhound which was very good as well. This has become our anniversary dinner spot.

We sat on the lounge side of the restaurant which is full service just like the restaurant side (We couldn't get a table on that side). The lounge area was set up nice, we got a nice table. Service started out slow because of a big party there, but once the party left, our server was super nice and very attentive. We got a nice bottle of wine and ordered some steaks. Perfectly medium cooked steaks, cut and melted in your mouth like butter. Dessert was great! Wine was delicious and perfectly paired with our meal. Price wise it is not too expensive but on the higher side than a pub obviously. Would reccommend but I would suggest you call in a reservation if you prefer to sit on restaurant side (even though I did not feel any lack in service on lounge side).
