Texas de Brazil - Farmington
The meat lovers' paradise gets a South American accent with Texas de Brazil, which has outposts all over the country. The restaurant is a sprawling, interactive eatery with a bountiful salad bar buffet, hot Brazilian dishes, and servers dressed in traditional gaucho garb to bring tables seemingly endless skewers of grilled meats.

Each diner is given a chip with green (go) on one side, and red (stop) on the other. When the chip is placed on the green side, the servers keep coming to the table with the grilled meats. When it's turned to the red side, they stop coming.
The meats are cooked over an open flame with natural wood charcoal; they range from parmesan-crusted pork loin to filet mignon wrapped in bacon. The salad bar offers guests the opportunity to customize their plates with chef-crafted salads, roasted vegetables, imported cheeses and charcuterie.
And a variety of hot items also come to the table. They include the likes of house-baked cheese bread, garlic mashed potatoes and fried bananas.
