Boasting low, intimate lights inside, this outpost for J. Gilbert's is located just west of Glastonbury’s Main Street on a quiet, tree-lined street. That's as classic as it gets, and they've been recognized by CTNOW ("Best Overall Restaurant") and Hartford Magazine ("best waitstaff," "best special occasion restaurant," and "best steakhouse") for their efforts.
The Kansas City influence is evident throughout the space. Dark, aged wood accents may be found in the bar, private dining room, and main dining room. There's an old-school, Midwestern sense of hospitality. And the cocktail and spirits menu pays special attention to the classics like the Old Fashioned.
