Urban Farmer Steakhouse - Denver
Adjacent to the historic Oxford Hotel and only a few steps away from the newly renovated Union Station, Urban Farmer positions itself as a modern, farm-to-table steakhouse.
The restaurant is situated in Denver's trendy lower downtown neighborhood and walking distance to the revitalized Union Station. It's also less than one mile away from Coors Field, 16th Street Mall, Denver Performing Arts Center, Denver Center for the Performing Arts, Museum of Contemporary Art Denver and Colorado Convention Center.
Part of Urban Farmer's farm-to-table program is its in-house whole animal butchering, which concentrates on ways to use the entire animal throughout the menu. One of its highlights is a communal charcuterie station offering guests an interactive and engaging space in which to "meet their meat."

Also of importance are the butcher's cuts. This is where heritage-bred beef takes the spotlight, with grass-fed, grain-finished and corn-fed varieties available, while poultry and seafood are also thoughtfully selected.
Unique to the steak menu is a tasting opportunity. Diners who order it may sample six ounces each of grass-fed, grain-finished and 21-day, dry-aged beef. Non-steak offerings range from pan-roasted chicken to spice-rubbed lamb chops.
In addition to the Denver location, Urban Farmer has restaurants in Portland, Cleveland and Philadelphia.
