Fleming's has dubbed its happy-hour program "Five Six Seven," thus attracting a fairly sophisticated and professional crowd looking to wind down after a long day's work. It consists of food and drink specials, starting at $6 each, that are offered between 5 and 7pm.
It's a pretty awesome setup, with deals certain to appeal in everyone in a group of revelers. There's the Debonair Martini for the cool gent in your group. Freshly squeezed margaritas for the wild child. And, of course, wine deals on sauvignon blanc and chardonnay. Don't forget, of course, that Fleming's claim to fame is its 100-wines-by-the-glass program, so the hardcore wine connoisseur can have fun trying out different choices.
Steaks, ranging from hand-selected USDA prime, certified Angus and Wagyu beef, are all aged a minimum of 21 days for optimum flavor. Fleming's aims to set itself apart from its competitors with modern accents on steak accompaniments such as diablo shrimp, truffle-poached lobster and lump crab meat that's Oscar style with béarnaise sauce. Appetizers are even above the norm with creative offerings such as tenderloin carpaccio, pan-crisped pork belly and lobster tempura.
The Denver outpost for Fleming's is located in the suburbs of Englewood, which is only 23 minutes away or a little under 10 miles. It's in close proximity to Inverness Golf Course, Park Meadows Mall, Denver Tech Center, Centennial Airport and the Inverness and Meridian business districts.
