Elway's Downtown - Denver
Longtime friends John Elway and Tim Schmidt teamed up for this local steakhouse chain based in Colorado. Locations are in Cherry Creek, downtown Denver, Denver International Airport and Vail. It's named in honor of Elway, who's a popular Denver fixture and NFL Hall of Fame inductee, former star quarterback for the Denver Broncos, and general manager/executive vice president of football operations for the Broncos.

Early morning favorites are steak and eggs, a classic Denver omelet and a chicken fried steak burrito. During brunch, guests may go for the build-your-own omelets, eggs Benedict, lobster BLT or signature burger.
Dinner, of course, offers an exceptional number of choices. Start with lamb chop fondue, coconut-battered shrimp or baked potato cheese dip. All steaks are hand cut and USDA prime. Guests may choose from a 16-ounce New York strip, 22-ounce bone-in ribeye and 28-ounce Porterhouse.
Not in the mood for steak? Solid choices like short rib with mashed potatoes, half roasted chicken and prime beef enchiladas should fit the bill. A gluten-free dinner menu includes steak choices, plus Brussels sprout hash, roasted cauliflower and steak tacos.
There are eight options for private dining, which accommodate 12 to 70 guests. Visitors to the restaurant may now take a piece of their magic home by purchasing Elway's signature steak seasoning. It's blended exclusively for the chain and may be used on chicken, steaks, pork chops and vegetables.
