The restaurant is situated in Denver's trendy lower downtown neighborhood and walking distance to the revitalized Union Station. It's also less than one mile away from Coors Field, 16th Street Mall, Denver Performing Arts Center, Denver Center for the Performing Arts, Museum of Contemporary Art Denver and Colorado Convention Center

Part of Urban Farmer's farm-to-table program is its in-house whole animal butchering, which concentrates on ways to use the entire animal throughout the menu. One of its highlights is a communal charcuterie station offering guests an interactive and engaging space in which to "meet their meat."
