Veteran restaurateurs and husband-and-wife duo John and Holly Smith have created what they believe to be an approachable steakhouse with Dry Creek Grill. With this neighborhood-focused establishment, they offer prime steaks, burgers and barbecue entrees in a setting that's both upscale, yet inviting.

Maximize

The Smiths' friendly approach extends to a number of nearby small businesses. They support as many local family farms and producers as possible, including Cowgirl Creamery Cheese, Riverdog Farms, Mary's Organic Chickens, and Snake River Farms.

Everything's fresh, and made from scratch, and appetizers are ideal for sharing. The cornbread is infused with white cheddar and jalapeno and arrives piping hot with a side of honey butter. Rock crab cakes are accompanied by arugula, orange and fennel salad and a spicy remoulade sauce. And the Korean fried chicken wings are tempura battered and come with a gochujang dipping sauce.

Also on the menu: seasonal fresh fish, filet mignon Stroganoff, and braised short ribs with white cheddar grits, sautéed spinach and wild mushrooms.

Dry Creek Grill's barbecue is pit smoked slow and low for several hours. Choose from Texas beef brisket, smoked chicken, and St. Louis-style pork ribs.

I love the atmosphere here. Subdued lighting. Friendly servers. Good food. Not too noisy. Great for special occasions. Not cheap but not too expensive. Expect to pay $50.00 for a hamburger, drink and tip. Hamburger was big and delicious.

It was quiet on a Sunday for a date. The chairs were a little awkward but the food absolutely amazing. Dessert was yum as well. Service was exceptional and hope to return one day soon

If you could define DCG it would be a luxurious sports bar slash restaurant. Sounds awkward but it really works. I will be coming back for sure...the ambience is great...fun, classy, but not snobbish. Service, drinks, and their food---all excellent. This is one of the best stroganoffs I've ever had in a long while. ❤️

The setting in this restaurant is peaceful and serine. The service was great and the food was even better. Lots of great choices on the menu as well as a large wine and craft cocktail selection. Full bar with multiple TV screens and comfortable and semi private booths to private a personal dining experience

Vegetarian (seasonal) risotto was amazing. Burrata salad was good minus the lack of tomatoes. Cocktails are beyond. Tell them what you like and make you something you love!

Very disappointed in the service. Before the pandemic, the food and service here were both great. The cocktails here are still fantastic, but the food quality has gone downhill and the service is not thoughtful or attentive at all. The brisket was extremely fatty, the brussel sprouts were mostly cores and not tender at all. Our entrees took so long that our waiter offered the dessert menu before they even arrived! We are local and used to really like this place, but now we won't be back.

It was our first visit and we were not disappointed. Try one of their Martinis, which they are known for. As for dinner, we ordered off their BBQ menu and the brisket was tender and lean. The BBQ beans and coleslaw were tasty as was the cornbread. All in all, it was a excellent meal.

We have given this place quite a few times going there , and yet they choose to hire young adults with arrogant personalities. I will choose to go elsewhere from here on out. The Bar is were most problems start. It trickles throughout the entire place unfortunately. You can not cater to one age category and not all age categories. To be successful you have to be able to adapt to all. Food has been a hit and mostly a miss unfortunately. Which is due to lack of Culinary experience. If your customer orders their food a specific way, (You) as the Chef should have No problem accommodating this. There always should be a dish or two that are the choice of the Chef with the item's, How it is prepared, and served. The rest should be traditional in someway of a Steak House. This is the opinion of a person whom has been in the Restaurant industry since the mid 80's. Erin A.

We were looking for a cozy, laid back place to dine-in on the last night of our weekend gataway and came across this place. Great food and service! Loved the atmosphere/ambiance! Very cozy! The 'Filet Strogonoff' was DELICIOUS!! Cocktails were good! We waited a bit long for our bill, so we got our desserts to take back to the hotel. Definitely will return next time we're down that way - in the Bay!

Fantastic food. Waiter was slammed but did recover. Although the place was not packed. And only one large party. Not about the bartender. First time I have had a martini with a pickle stuffed olive(?!) My girlfriends Scotch and water was a whole different experience. The fantastic food saved a lower star rating. Have patience. That is the new mantra for dining out.
