LB Steak - Menlo Park
LB Steak boasts two locations: the first in an upscale neighborhood in Menlo Park and the second in the downtown area of Santana Row in San Jose. In Menlo Park, the restaurant is modern in decor and menu items. It's also popular for its happy hour (4-6:30pm daily), where diners may nosh on filet tips, meatballs, crispy zucchini sticks and more for a fraction of the price of the regular menu. There is also lunch service.
The menu consists of a grand list of classic steakhouse favorites. Start with oyster shooters, hand-chopped Wagyu tartare and pan-seared sea scallops to whet your appetite. Then you'll want to move on to salads, which range from a traditional Wedge to a seasonal offering. The chef handpicks all the steaks, which consist of Angus and Wagyu. Choose from the usual suspects, including New York strip to a 16-ounce cowboy steak. Main non-steak entrees tote the line between seafood choices like miso-cured black cod to grilled lamb chops.
And every week is "Prime Rib Sunday" where guests may enjoy a prime rib dinner for $32.50 per person. Guests get a salad, 12-ounce prime rib, loaded potato and artisanal ice cream.
