The upscale sister to the iconic King's Fish House, 555 East American Steakhouse boasts a fine-dining menu with USDA prime beef steaks as its top offering. The steaks are hand cut from cows that were fed corn for 150 days. They've also been aged 25-36 days for optimum flavor.
Top cuts include an 18-ounce Kansas City strip, a 20-ounce bone-in ribeye and 16-ounce New York strip, and unlike most steakhouses today 555 East serves each steak with a choice of a baked potato, fries or garlic mashed potatoes. For those looking for meat beyond steak, oven-roasted prime lamb, steamed red king crab and a number of seafood and pasta dishes are also available.
Diners will also find plenty of seafood on the appetizer menu: fried calamari, wild jumbo Mexican shrimp cocktail and oysters are big hits.
