Connors Steak & Seafood - Franklin

Connors Steak & Seafood opened its first location in Knoxville, Tenn. in 2004, and by 2016 debuted its third outpost in Franklin. All venues are situated in notable areas of their respective towns, such as this one tucked inside Cool Springs Galleria.

Surrounded by the likes of prominent retails Banana Republic, Macy's and Williams-Sonoma, Connors Steak & Seafood caters to its clientele by serving prime-aged steaks, fresh seafood and a host of gourmet-style salads. The chain uses wood-fired grills to bring out the full flavor of the steak cuts, setting them apart from many of its competitors.

The interior of the spacious steakhouse is inviting, with warm, rich woodwork, making the dining room and bar ideal places to visit following a long day of shopping. Appetizers aim to amp up typical fare, from Voodoo shrimp accompanied by spicy remoulade sauce to a warm lobster dip served with crispy seafood crackers.

All steaks and chops are served with soup or salad, a baked potato and a side. Steak lovers may choose from an eight-, 12- or `6-ounce signature prime rib, 14-ounce New York strip or Australian lamb chops.

Non-steak options abound as well at Conners. Shrimp & cheesy grits, mesquite-grilled Atlantic salmon and tomato basil pasta are on the menu. And for those looking for more casual bites at the bar, a Philly-style cheesesteak, grilled chicken club and classic Swiss burger are offered.

We used to frequent this restaurant while we lived in Nashville a few years back and it was always amazing... So when we were in town visiting last weekend we decided to see if it had kept its flare and boy did it not disappoint! The food was incredible, there was not an item we ordered that missed the mark in anyway. The icing on the cake was the top notch service! We were very well taken care of!! I would absolutely recommend!!!

I’ve experienced Connors prior to this visit, but it was a pick-up order so this was my first time dining inside the restaurant. My boyfriend and I ate lunch here on the weekend without a reservation. Even though we only had about a 15 minute wait, I would recommend making reservations ahead of time. Our experience was a very pleasant one. Our server, as well as our food, were both fantastic! He ordered the Chicken Parmesan, and our server recommended the Chicken Piccata for me and it was delicious! We will definitely return. Great food, ambiance, and service!

Made a reservation 2 weeks before showing up. It was at a 3:00 on a Sunday. Arrived on time and had to wait 30 minutes before being seated. Once I was seated, we ordered calamari as an appetizer and ribeye steak for main course and also shrimp scampi. The calamari is over breaded and overcooked. My steak was cooked to perfection but as far as flavoring it's just middle of the road. This place is a classic example of the epidemic of overpriced eateries that have popped up in and around Nashville. Overall, for the value of the food that I got versus the price I would say eat somewhere else. Nothing spectacular except the bill.

You know this is a nice little date night spot that is slightly high end but doesn't break the bank at the same time. A few minor issues but otherwise an overall good experience. The fried green tomatoes were delicious. Steak and potatoes were enjoyed by both of us. The desert was incredible and highly recommend getting it. Pricey but you know that going into it

Really enjoyed the food. Everything was good. The lobster tail was everything. Whichever chef cooked this lobster should be given a raised. The fried mushrooms were amazing but dipped in their ranch dressing. Steak had great flavor but was cook little bit under but still was a great steak nonetheless.

My wife and I went there for a birthday with a group of 11 people. I enjoyed my overall experience it was just a few things that could have been a little better. The lobster dip was good but the chips that came with it should have been tortilla chips. And you definitely have to be careful on the floor because it was slick but my choice of shoe wasn't the best. Wear non-slip shoes if you do go. My steak was cooked to perfection but my Oscar style topping could have been a little hotter. The service was very good. In short, my wife and I will go back in the near future. Enjoy! 🙂

Enjoyed this restaurant at the cool springs mall. The bisque had good flavor and nice size pieces of crab and lobster. I enjoyed the Caesar salad and the dressing was light but good. The tuna on the tuna salad was fresh and sushi grade. The salads were also very large. The crab cake was filled with a lot of crab and not breading, which is the mark of a good crab cake. I would give this restaurant a $$$-$$$$ price range.

Best dining experience I’ve had in a very long time! Wanted to try something different & now am so glad every other place we stopped had a minimum 2 hour wait, here we were seated immediately. I’m not sure if I should rave more about the service or the food because both were excellent, thank you David. We were dressed for a day of fun with kids, not a fine dining experience, and still felt very comfortable & the kids enjoyed it too.

Had the USDA Prime Filet. It was cooked to absolute perfection. Barely even had to chew it, it melts in your mouth. The calamari for an appetizer was great. The deviled eggs were a little runny where they were under a warning light for a few, but were still good. The thousand island salad dressing was spot on! Only downside is your wallet will be much lighter when you leave but like I always say, you get what you pay for.

Elio was our sever and was fantastic! His recommendations for wine to compliment our orders were spot on as were his meal suggestions. The food was delicious and served in a very timely manner. I had the suggested steak special of an aged Delmonico served medium-rare. It must have been the best restaurant steak I have ever had. My wife ordered the Chilean Sea Bass and thought it was delicious! My daughter ordered the Sirloin medium-rare and loved it as well. The calamari and lobster bisque were really good as well. We will be going back!!

A culinary guru dream! Customer service from the hostess to the waitress; excellent! The way every worker was professionally dressed and ironed; excellent! The food and plating presentation for shrimp and grits, oysters and lobster dip; Excellent! Strawberry short cake dessert; oh so excellent. The atmosphere was personal but yet private.

What a great place! We we're really hungry due to leaving a previous restaurant for lack of service and had to wait but it was worth it. Our server was wonderful, helping us with our selections and making great recommendations. We were celebrating a birthday so we started with the seafood tower. The oysters were the star but everything was fantastic. Really started out the night with a special touch. For the entrees, the Salmon, prime rib and shrimp linguine were the favorites. We will be back to try some more items in the future
