Mooo - Boston
Mooo is modern. Mooo is meat focused. Mooo is a chef-driven concept by Jamie Mammano, who boasts a mini empire of restaurants in the Boston area.
But back to Mooo. It's located on Beacon Hill, inside the luxurious XV Beacon Hotel. Mooo's warm, contemporary décor provides a relaxed, sophisticated atmosphere, with its wine cellar offering one of Boston's most exclusive private dining rooms. It boasts double-vaulted ceilings and shows off Mooo’s extensive wine list. It also accommodates seated events for up to 50 guests and receptions of up to 65.
If you're coming for dinner, you'll want to start with ultra-fresh selections from the raw bar. You can select from a la carte options like East Coast or West oysters, New England Littleneck clams and chilled Gulf shrimp, or have them all at once with a grand seafood platter.
More composed appetizers are a good mix of hot and cold offerings. Choose from sushi grade tuna tartare, Japanese Wagyu beef dumplings and dry-aged ribeye meatballs.
And speaking of beef, there are a number of a la carte steaks on the menu. Many are sourced from local farms, including Creekstone Farms prime New York sirloin, Painted Hills New York sirloin and prime dry-aged ribeye.
For those not having dinner but still want to soak up the scene, Mooo's bar is a lively destination, beginning right after work. There's also a dedicated menu of sandwiches (grilled chicken club, steakburger), a Maine lobster pizza and more.
