La Boca - New Orleans
In a city dominated by Cajun- and Creole-inspired restaurants, La Boca stands out for multiple reasons. It's an Argentine-focused destination fueled, of course, by some of the finest cuts of beef throughout the country.
Some of the choices include Certified Angus Beef, Painted Hills Organic Beef, locally raised beef from Two Run Farms and Snake River American Kobe. The cuts range from New York strip to grilled veal sweetbreads--and everything in between. There are also a number of specialties diners should consider such as noqui (potato dumplings with pancetta, peas and cream), morcilla (blood sausage), house-made chorizo and the signature French fries La Boca, which takes three days to perfect.
A chef's tasting menu is available to parties of four or more. This includes appetizers, a selection of Argentine-styled steaks and dessert.
