Morton's The Steakhouse Orlando

We did happy hour with friends and sat at the bar. The bartenderss was sweet and friendly. We'll definitely go back!

Went today to celebrate our grandson's birthday. We had three adults, a 17 & 19 year old in the party. Five of us total. The greeters informed us we couldn't be seated in the dining room, only in the bar area because the boys were wearing opened toed shoes. By the way, they were both in collared shirts and dress shorts. Disappointed, but we agreed. Four out of 5 dinners came out wrong. Two of us waited for replacements while the other three finished their meals. Our waitress tried to recover by providing us with complimentory desserts. That was a nice touch but a bit too late. We were pretty well dissatisfied with our experience at that point. Others came in with gym shoes and crop tops and seated in the dinning room. The place was far from being packed. A lot of restaurants to choose from in the area. Morton's was always one of our favorite. I think we will rethink the next trip.

Holy deliciousness. When you’re here, you’re doing something right. Went for a business dinner and had the 16 oz. NY Strip came out perfect, ordered it medium rare and it cut like butter. For starters we had tuna tar tar, beef sliders along with the salad. I love Laundry’s and it reminds me of The Palm. If you like paying a little extra, sipping a coffee after dinner, toasting with a glass of wine, and spending a few hours over a dinner table… with your checkbook ready to go of course… go here

The service is subpar. The lady at the front was chatting with apparently “the president of laundry services” while keeping us waiting and waiting. I finally told her to put down her phone. She also was dressed poorly, like going to the grocery store or the park. I also didn’t really like the waiter service. At any high end service, they would bag the food for you. Here the waiter just gave us the boxes to bag. A bit unprofessional at a restaurant that is apparently “five star.” The lobster bisque was just too salty. But the lobster Mac and cheese was bland. The lava cake was so-so. Honestly, go to Charley’s steakhouse if you want steaks. Go to Eddie V’s if you want really upscale atmosphere, service, and food.

We went to Morton’s to celebrate our 13th anniversary. Every time we go we have a fantastic meal and relaxing evening. On this last visit we were waited on by Gabby. She was on point, pleasant and attentive to all of our needs. The quality of customer service was outstanding. We tarted with prosciutto wrapped mozzarella, next was the Morton’s chopped wedge salad, and then I had the bone in fillet with a peppercorn sauce and my wife had a fillet with an Oscar topping. We had an amazing bottle of wine and we finished the meal with chocolate mousse and a molten chocolate cake. It was a fantastic evening.

Great location in the Orlando area. The hostess saved the experience.She was amazing, from reservation to photos taken after our dinner. Steak was a bit overcooked and the server forgot our drinks and silverware. For a prime restaurant, I think it could be a lot better.

This was our first time eating at Morton’s and we were pretty disappointed. The service was great but the food was just ok. Our “medium” steaks were undercooked (not something that should happen at a steakhouse) and the lobster tails were bland. Fleming’s and STK are by far superior - spend your money at one of those steakhouses over Morton’s.
