The steakhouse goes interactive with this Brazilian-focused concept with outposts all over the country. Texas de Brazil's specialty is the gauchos who stroll the dining room with oversized skewered stacked with meats straight from the grill.
Read MoreThe Ft. Lauderdale location is on the premises of Dolphin Mall, which has the distinction of being the largest outdoor shopping center in the Miami area. The mall features luxury, mid-priced and outlet stores from the likes of Hugo Boss, Nieman Marcus Last Call and Bloomingdale's.
What sets Texas de Brazil apart from some of its counterparts is that guests may order a la carte and/or only partake in the salad bar, which features a diverse array of chef-crafted salads, roasted vegetables, imported cheeses and charcuterie. The bar-only menu offers the likes of lobster bisque, an antipasto platter and signature cocktails like the Caipirinha.
Guests participating in the gaucho driven part of the concept should know the drill before indulging: Each participant is given a chip with green on one side and red on the opposite side. Turn it to green and the gauchos appear with skewers of herb-marinated pork loin, leg of lamb, Brazilian sausage, filet mignon wrapped in bacon, flank steak, grilled chicken wrapped in bacon and more. Had enough meat? Simply turn the chip to red.
Texas de Brazil's dining room is vibrantly decorated with Latin music setting the mood.
