LB Steak - San Jose
LB Steak boasts two locations: the first in an upscale neighborhood in Menlo Park and the second in the downtown area of Santana Row in San Jose. In San Jose, the restaurant is modern in decor and menu items. It's also popular for its happy hour (4-pm daily), where diners may nosh on oysters, flash-fried shishito peppers and more for a fraction of the price of the regular menu. There is also brunch and lunch service.
The menu consists of a grand list of classic steakhouse favorites. Start with fried calamari, maple-glazed pork belly or steak tartare to whet your appetite. Then you'll want to move on to salads, which range from a traditional Caesar to a seasonal offering. The chef handpicks all the steaks, which consist of Angus and Wagyu. Choose from the usual suspects, including New York strip to a 16-ounce cowboy steak. Main non-steak entrees tote the line between seafood choices like herb-roasted chicken and jumbo Maine scallops.
And every week is "Prime Rib Sunday" where guests may enjoy a prime rib dinner for $37 per person. Guests get a salad, 12-ounce prime rib, asparagus, baked potato and artisanal ice cream.
