Sonny Williams' Steak Room - Little Rock
Some of Little Rock's most exciting dining and drinking venues are situated in the downtown River Market District, from the Argentine-inspired Buenos Aires Grill and Cafe to the venerable steakhouse Sonny Williams. The latter attracts a well-heeled clientele, who come for light entertainment from the piano bar and freshly cut Angus steaks.
Read MoreSonny Williams aims to stand out from traditional steakhouses with a number of chef-driven menu items, starting with the appetizers. Guests may choose from the likes of a spinach, crab, and artichoke dip as well as a signature charcuterie board. There's also a hearty crab cake appetizer that arrives in a rich nantua sauce, which is a classical French sauce consisting of Béchamel.
For steaks, there are several cuts from which to choose. There's a 12-ounce filet, bone-in cowboy ribeye, and porterhouse for two, among others. They are aged anywhere from 35 days to 41 days.
The menu is seasonal, but typical offerings include a grilled chicken entree, double-bone cold-smoked pork chop, seared scallops over risotto, and a fish of the day.
There's patio seating at Sonny Williams.
